Relapse as data, not as shame
Your journey history is not a record of failure. It is a map of patterns, and patterns can be walked out of. The enemy would love you to read every relapse as a verdict, but 'there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus' (Romans 8:1).
When you see your check-ins laid out over weeks, the shape of your struggle becomes visible. The late nights. The unguarded weekends. The triggers you keep naming but have not yet learned to head off. That is not shame, it is self-awareness, and self-awareness is where the way out begins. Jesus did not come for the men who had it together; He came for the ones who kept falling and kept coming back.
Grace does not need you to have a clean record. It needs you to keep showing up. Peter denied Jesus three times, and Jesus still met him on the shore with breakfast and a calling. Your relapse is not the end of your story.
So read your history as data, not as shame. Bring the map to Him, and let the One who sees every pattern also be the One who walks you out of it.
