Coach · Pastoral background
I'm Bernard. Almost two decades in pastoral work, and about ten years sitting with men in groups and one to one. Most of them came to me carrying the same thing, and most of them were sure they were the only one.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”2 Corinthians 3:17
Why I do this work
I know the way in. I know the way out.
I have sat with a great many men in this. Men who love God, love their wives, and still find themselves back in the same place on a Tuesday night, wondering what is wrong with them.
I understand the traps. Not from a textbook, but from hearing men describe, again and again, the moment it starts: the tiredness, the loneliness, the wound nobody touched, the screen left open. The trap is rarely dramatic. It is usually built out of something real that was never named out loud, and it promises relief it can never give.
I understand the guilt too. The way a man can carry it for years, until it keeps him from praying, from his wife, from the very men who could help him. Guilt that was meant to lead him to Christ gets used to hold him away from Christ. That is not the gospel. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is not standing over you waiting to accuse you. He is the one who helps you.
And I have seen the other side of it. I have watched men tell the truth for the first time in years, and I have watched marriages come back from the dead. I have sat in rooms where a wife who had every right to leave chose to stay, and where a man who was certain he was too far gone learned to be a husband again. Not because he was strong. Because God does not abandon the work He begins, and grace is real.
That is why Crossover Men exists. Not to shame men into behaving, but to help them walk with Christ, and with each other, honestly, one ordinary day at a time.
The trap
It is quieter than you think. Tiredness, boredom, an old wound, a screen at midnight.
The guilt
Shame was never meant to keep a man from Christ. It was meant to bring him to Him.
The way back
I have watched marriages come back from the dead. Grace is not a theory to me.

How I work
Grace first, then honest steps
I work at your pace, and I don't pretend any of this is simple. Change begins with telling the truth: to God, to one safe person, and to yourself. The Holy Spirit does the work none of us can do. My part is to walk beside you while He does it.
I don't promise results, and I don't sell quick fixes. I do believe men can learn to see their patterns, reach for help before the moment, and take one faithful step after another, and that they should never have to do it alone.
A word of honesty
What I'm not
The Reset is a faith-based guide, not therapy and not a substitute for professional counselling, medical care or pastoral support. If you need more, please reach out.
If any of this is your story, you don't have to carry it on your own.
